During the Tang Dynasty. Taking advantage of the emperor's illness, King Geonwang conspired with Prime Minister Maripbu to imprison the crown prince in the palace prison and plot to usurp the throne. When General Im Yeon of the Geumo Guard learned of this, he was falsely accused of treason by King Geonwang and Maripbu and was forced to flee.
