SummaryWith Carmy gone and the clock running out, Sydney, Richie, and Natalie must hold The Bear together long enough to find out if it was all worth it.

The kitchen is open for one last service. After four critically acclaimed seasons and more Emmy Awards than almost any show in television history, “The Bear,” Season 5 is preparing to serve one final, unforgettable course. Everything has changed. The restaurant is still standing. But the chef who built it is gone.

“The Bear” follows the chaotic, heartfelt world inside a Chicago restaurant, and over its first four seasons, has become one of the defining television dramas currently streaming. Here at StreamSafely, we couldn’t be more thrilled to help fans experience its grand finale the right way. That means connecting you with the right, legitimate streaming options and keeping you away from the known piracy sites that can put your devices and personal data at serious risk.

Whether you’re sitting down to dine at “The Bear” for the first time or have been a regular since its days as The Beef, we’ve got everything you need to watch the hit. With four delectable seasons so far, we know Season 5 will be the cherry on top.

Everything You Need To Know About The Bear, Season 5

“The Bear” is an FX drama series streaming on Hulu that follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (played by Jeremy Allen White), a fine-dining-trained chef forced back to Chicago to take over his late brother Mikey’s struggling Italian beef sandwich shop after Mikey’s suicide. What begins as a story about keeping a sandwich counter alive quickly expands into something far more ambitious. The series is a layered, emotionally raw, and darkly funny portrait of grief, family dysfunction, professional ambition, and the sacrifices people make in pursuit of excellence.

Created by Christopher Storer and co-run with Joanna Calo, the series premiered on FX on Hulu in June 2022 and became an immediate sensation, transforming its cast into household names. The TV show has since amassed 21 Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.

The fifth season was officially announced on July 1, 2025, and FX confirmed it as the show’s last chapter in May 2026. Long before the official word, however, cast member Jamie Lee Curtis had been dropping hints on social media. After production wrapped in early 2026, she posted on Instagram that the cast had “finished strong” and “completed the story,” which sent fans into a frenzy.

Just weeks before the season premiere, FX and Hulu dropped a surprise standalone prequel episode titled “Gary.” The episode follows Richie and Mikey on a work trip to Gary, Indiana, and, as the episode description puts it, adds “emotional context that reframes their story from the very beginning.”

A Quick Recap Of Every Season

Before Season 5 drops, our cinephiles here at StreamSafely invite you to watch the previous four seasons from the beginning to appreciate the wild rollercoaster the characters have taken.

Season 1: A grieving chef, Carmy Berzatto, returns home to take over his brother’s restaurant in the wake of his passing. Between a kitchen that’s barely holding together and a family that’s barely holding on, something unexpected begins to take shape.

Season 2: While The Beef restaurant is synonymous with the Berzatto name, Carmy envisions something more and aims to turn his family’s sandwich shop into a fine-dining establishment he calls “The Bear.”

Season 3: The Bear has its doors open, but everything inside is fracturing. The quest for perfection, it turns out, can be just as destructive as failure.

Season 4: The Bear must become profitable quickly or close. With a two-month window placed on him by his investors, Carmy will push himself and everyone around him closer to the breaking point than ever.

All seasons of “The Bear” are now streaming on Hulu.

A Look Into Season 5 Of The Bear

The upcoming season picks up right where the fourth season left viewers off: watching Carmy walk away from the food industry entirely, leaving the restaurant in the hands of Sydney, Richie, and Natalie. With no money, no time, and a storm literally closing in, the question isn’t just whether they can earn a Michelin star, it’s if they can hold themselves together long enough to find out. The new partners must band together and fight for the dream that has cost them all so much before the lights go out for good.

Release Date & Episode Count

Cast & Crew

The fifth and final season reunites the full ensemble that made The Bear one of the most decorated shows on television. Jeremy Allen White (“Shameless,” 2011-2021) returns as Carmy, with Ayo Edebiri (“Bottoms,” 2023), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (“The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” 2025), and Abby Elliott (“Saturday Night Live,” Seasons 34-37) stepping into new leadership roles at the center of the drama.

Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson are all reprising their roles as the kitchen’s irreplaceable backbone, while recurring stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Oliver Platt, Will Poulter, and Ricky Staffieri are confirmed to return as well.

How To Stream The Bear, Season 5

“The Bear” is a Hulu and FX production, which means the only legitimate way to stream all eight episodes on premiere day is through an active Hulu subscription or an eligible bundle.

As always, StreamSafely strongly advises you to avoid piracy sites that claim to offer free access to new episodes. These sites are frequently loaded with malware, phishing schemes, and data-harvesting software that can compromise your device and your personal information. Many of these platforms may appear legitimate, and you can protect yourself by learning how to recognize illegal streaming sites

The good news is that Hulu offers several flexible and affordable subscription options, many of which bundle additional streaming services for significant savings. Here’s a breakdown of your options:

Cable

For viewers who prefer to watch the new season the traditional way, FX will air the series weekly beginning on premiere night, June 25, 2026. The first two episodes will air back-to-back on FX that evening, starting at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, with one new episode airing each week after.

A cable or satellite subscription that includes FX is all you need. Check with your provider to confirm channel availability and airing times in your area.
